• Have a Concept
The idea and execution is well represented and understandable. The title of the beer company has been expounding and represented in the packaging of the product. The concept is understandable in having a place to write what you would want to say if you were drinking with someone for a particular reason. It's witty and clever.
The example is minimal with "decoration" which makes the message more powerful and meaningful. The only information in this piece is what is necessary.
• Speak with One Visual Voice
Everything is consistent in this environmental piece. The concept is strong and consistent through all elements of the piece. The typography is cohesive to the theme of driving signage further illustrating the message.
• Use Two Typefaces Max
Only one serif typeface and one san serif typeface are used. They contrast each other just enough to bring the piece together. The san serif typeface relates to the subordinate message while the serif typeface relates to the dominate information. By using only two typefaces the artist is able to create readable hierarchy.
• Use the One - Two Punch
The heirarchy is easily understandable and helps attract the viewer. There isn't a wide variety of images or information to be obvious and is easily retained by the audience.
